The fertility coping community for Aspiring Parents (AP)
Hi, we’re Rachel and Matt.
We are new, first time parents.
Against all odds, we finally have our daughter - she’s healthy, safe…and she’s ours.
Through fertilyfe, we are creating a community dedicated to coping with the interconnectivity of grief and fertility treatment to empower Aspiring Parents (APs) to navigate this significant life event.
Our seven years of IVF, including surrogacy, taught us so much about the need to make informed decisions, be open to our path and proactively curate healthy coping strategies.
Prolonged IVF combined with the sudden passing of Rachel’s Dad and isolation amid the global pandemic required us to cope with cumulative grief.
Our lives have been forever changed by these concurrent, transformational experiences.
There were two key mantras, inspired by Rachel's father, that helped us power through IVF and stay well:

Despite his physical absence, he has been with us every step of the way through his lessons and now, our daughter Alanna is named after him.
Through fertilyfe, we want to give back by sharing our learnings to bring comfort and guidance to those trying to bring their dreams for a family to lYfe.
Our Y is intentional - it’s our why.
Fertility is a significant life event.
It can be among the most daunting and traumatic obstacles one ever faces.
